MODEX

Mo Team SAI have developed and patented a revolutionary handling mechanism that can move discrete parts through production process substantially quicker than traditional gripper technology. MODEX’s unique design allows objects with apertures to be stacked and moved during manufacturing while also dramatically reducing the potential for damage. The adjustable cylindrical centre allows for a variety of differing sized objects to be moved while the fingers close over the outside of the object. The MODEX then positions itself by the joint, where the fingers retract along the central shaft releasing the object into the final destination.
